From canopy to glass house
Add sliding-and-turning glass panels as side walls and the canopy becomes a glass room. The panels can be closed for protection from wind and rain, or stacked into the corner to open the whole space in good weather. You can also choose sliding or bifold doors, or fixed panes.
Our Watergrasshill, Co. Cork project shows a glass house with SL 25 slide and turn walls used for dining all year.

Do I need planning permission for a glass canopy?
It depends on size, position and whether the structure attaches to the house. We give practical guidance and you should confirm with your local planning authority.
Do you supply front door canopies?
We supply Solarlux glass canopies for terraces and patios. If you want a canopy over an entrance, tell us the size and the wall it will fix to and we will confirm what we can offer.
Is a glass canopy insulated?
A canopy or glass house is non-insulated. If you want a heated, insulated room, see our wintergardens.
